Vintage-retro affichage

Since I love everything old and everything vintage, I made some retro-vintage cards for the shop the family owns.
Here goes :

Wedding invitations

The first wedding invitation I made, was for my own wedding.I wanted something simple and neat, so, I just drawn it, scanned it, and photo shopped it to make it as it looks above.

Then I made some for some friends.

I love you more

I don't know how many people know this about me, but I have an obsession with people's hands. I don't know why, but hands are so expressive to me. I look at someone's hands and I can read them, I can see them. It's not technical details like the length of who knows what finger, or the size of the palm etc...it's like the hands have an aura of their own that give away the people they belong to.
It could be just madness, or, there could be a scientific truth behind this hand reading. From my own experience, it hasn't let me down: people's hands have confirmed to me characteristics of the people that I already knew, or, have showed me the people in a brand new light. You can imagine that my husband has very loving hands, and it was one of the things that led to our lives connecting...:)
There are few people who's hands just seem divine to me.Many belong to Da Vinci's paintings, and a pair of real ones belong to Michael Jackson . I think they express his inner self very accurately: strong yet delicate, artistic and caring.
I was very happy to find a photo where he's making a heart shape using his hands, to show his fans that he loved them. I added his signature expression "I love you more", drawing on top of his own writing.

Arina Balerina

This is the illustration/drawing I came up with for my business cards, and to use it as some sort of logo of mine.

Nichita Illustrations

This is my friend's son, Nichita.I first took some photos of him (will show later on), then drew some illustrations of him for the Baptism party cards for the tables.

I made the two drawings, then decided to use the second one for the actual printing.
